9月開學以來,斐特思小學一年級的《道德與法治》融通課程吸引了眾多家長的關注和支持。課程以IBPYP 單元探究式學習為教學框架,通過游戲、小組協(xié)作、戶外探究、訪問、策展等形式,讓學生自由探索:“我們是誰”、“我們身處什么時空”、“我們?nèi)绾伪磉_自己”、“世界如何運作”、“我們?nèi)绾谓M織自己”、“共享地球”。課程切實地鍛煉了學生解決問題的能力,并促進其全面成長。

Since the new semester started in September, Fettes College Guangzhou Primary School"s Character Education and Wellness integrated curriculum for Grade 1 has attracted the attention and support of many parents. The curriculum uses the IBPYP Unit of Inquiry learning as its teaching framework. Through games, group collaborations, outdoor exploration, visits, curation, and other forms, students freely explored: ‘Who we are’, ‘Where we are in place and time’, ‘How we express ourselves’, ‘How the world works’, ‘How we organise ourselves’, and ‘Sharing the planet’. The curriculum effectively develops students" problem-solving abilities and promotes their overall growth.

小學《道德與法治》是一門活動型綜合課程,低年級以兒童的生活為基礎,培養(yǎng)良好品德與行為習慣,促使其樂于探究、熱愛生活;中高年級以學生良好品德的形成為核心,促進學生社會性發(fā)展。

The Primary School "Moral and Legal Education" is an active comprehensive curriculum. In the lower grades, it is based on cultivating good character and behaviour habits and encouraging them to explore and love life. The middle and upper grades focus on forming good character as their core learning, intending to promote students" social development.

融通課程教研組嚴格遵照《道德與法治》的課程標準與教材,基于斐特思學習者培養(yǎng)目標“友善待人、勤勉致知、積極探究、知識淵博、善于思考、善于交流、堅持原則、胸襟開闊、懂得關愛、敢于嘗試、均衡發(fā)展、及時反思”。以社區(qū)為大概念,經(jīng)拆解、整合,提煉出了四大課程模塊(我最愛的校園一角、學校里照顧我的人、我最喜歡的課間活動、校園中的規(guī)則),將英語學科中學到的詞匯與口語表達能力遷移運用到整個課程。

The teaching group strictly adheres to the curriculum standards and textbooks of "Character Education and Wellness", based on FCG"s Learner Profile traits of "Kindness, Industria, Inquirer, Knowledgeable, Thinker, Communicator, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-Taker, Balanced, and Reflective". Based on the concept of community, four curriculum modules (‘My favorite corner of the campus’, ‘People who take care of me in school’, ‘My favorite break-time activities’ and ‘Rules on campus’) were broken down and integrated. The vocabulary and oral expression abilities learned in English were transferred and applied throughout the curriculum.

此次展覽,是廣州市斐特思學校全體小學教師,尤其是UOI教師、美術教師,家長,整個“學習者社區(qū)” 獻給小學生最好的禮物。在這次展覽中,我們的核心不在于關注完美的藝術作品呈現(xiàn),而是更加關注兒童的視角、兒童的聲音、兒童的能動性和創(chuàng)造力、兒童的“大能量”。我們應該“蹲下來”傾聽兒童的聲音,跟隨他們提出的問題來探尋教育的創(chuàng)新與可持續(xù)發(fā)展。

This exhibition is the best gift that FCG, parents, and the entire ‘learning community’ can give to Primary School students. In this exhibition, our focus is not on presenting perfect artistic work, but on children’s perspective, voice, initiative, creativity, and ‘big ideas’. We will ‘crouch down’, listen to children"s voices and follow the questions they raise to explore educational innovation and sustainable development.

該課程積極推動教學者與學習者形成螺旋形向上發(fā)展的關系,特別設計了面向小學生和小學家長的問卷,這些啟發(fā)性的問題讓教學者及時反思,也將成為“家校共育“探索的主題。

This curriculum actively promotes a spiral upward development relationship between teachers and learners. It has specially designed questionnaires for Primary School students and parents. These inspiring questions allow educators to reflect timely and will also become the theme of exploring "parent-school co-education".
以下展示的是“小學生和家長 100 問”的部分內(nèi)容,問題具有普遍性和啟發(fā)性,同時在一定程度上傳達了孩子融入校園生活過程中的心聲與父母適應一年級家長身份的焦慮。

The following shows a part of the content of "100 Questions for Primary School Students and Parents." The questions are universal and inspiring. At the same time, to a certain extent, they convey theinner feelingsof children integrating into campus life and the anxiety of parents adapting to the identity of grade 1 parents.

兒童絕不是縮小版的成人,他們具有豐富的想象力,如果能身處開放、自由、多元、包容的環(huán)境,那么兒童的使命就是創(chuàng)造。廣州市斐特思學校致力于創(chuàng)造這樣的文化和環(huán)境。在“雙減”政策背景下,2022年國家新課標也特別強調要給予小學兒童(尤其低齡段)更多適應學校的時間,以幫助他們適應學習者身份的轉變。

Children are not miniature adults. They have rich imaginations. If they are in an open, free, diverse, and inclusive environment, their mission is to create. FCG is working hard to create such a culture and environment. In the context of the "Double Reduction" policy, the 2022 new national curriculum standards also emphasise giving Primary School children (especially in the lower grades) more time to adapt to the transition of identifying as a student.
